OHSC webinars with the General Practitioners and emergency medical services

The Office of Health Standards Compliance (OHSC) is a public entity charged, in terms of the National Health Amendment Act 2013, with improving the quality of healthcare by driving health establishments, including General Practitioners in private practice and emergency medical services’ compliance with minimum prescribed norms and standards. It does this by means of inspections, the exercise of enforcement powers and the certification of compliant establishments, as well as by the investigation of complaints about sub-standard care.

The OHSC as the regulator in health commenced webinars with i) the private General Practitioners; and ii) the public and private emergency medical services to discuss the work of the OHSC, its activities and future towards achieving safe and quality healthcare.
